Tate Simms was born in Manhattan and raised on the best music ever written. A master guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and drummer, Tate has built a career that most musicians can only dream of — performing alongside Grammy Award winners Christina Aguilera and Joe Cocker, serving as bassist for Mary Wilson of The Supremes, and acting as musical director for LaToya Jackson’s tour.

His resume reads like a who’s who of music royalty: Sir Cliff Richards, Esperanza Spalding, George Benson, Paul Carrack, and the band Globus — just a few names from a long and storied list. Beyond live performance, Tate has an extensive library of original music licensed for TV and film.
